Chris’s Side: You know how they say there are three sides to every story—her side, my side, and the truth… which, let’s be honest, is obviously my side. Haha.

So, Britni and I met on this dating app called Hinge. At that point, I think we were both just kind of over the whole dating scene. Personally, I was trying to figure out what I actually wanted. I’d meet people, go on the occasional date, but it all just felt... surface-level. Nothing really stuck.

Then came Britni. From the very first conversation, it just felt different. Everything flowed—no awkward pauses, no forcing it. The vibe was just right. But she was still in her Hot Girl Summer era and about to leave town, so I didn’t expect much. Maybe a few fun chats, and that’d be it. But then, plot twist—she came back from her trip and told me she’d been thinking about me the whole time. Guess I left an impression. Haha.

Naturally, I played it cool and set up a date. And I’ll never forget walking into that restaurant and seeing her for the first time—absolutely stunning. In that moment, I knew she was different. Special.

Since then, we’ve built something real—going on trips, meeting each other’s families, spending time together in all the little and big ways that matter. And the more I got to know her, the more certain I became: she’s the one.

Now here we are—and I thank God every day for bringing such an angel into my life.

Britni’s Side: When I met Chris, he felt like a breath of fresh air. Even on the first date, I knew that he was different and I knew that if I passed on him I would regret it. I’m so happy that I didn’t. I prayed for a man like Chris and then out of thin air, he appeared in this perfectly wrapped gift from God.

Meeting Chris, although we barely knew each other, when we spoke, it felt like we’d known each other for years! We can literally talk about anything and everything and our time together is never dull. The first thing I remember about him is that he was so honest!! (Sometimes too honest lol) Chris really does wear his heart on his sleeve and won’t hide how he feels and will always tell it how it is!

It didn’t feel real at first, that I could really have my prayers answered and find a man that could lead me, guide me, challenge me, love and support me in the way that I needed.

Chris is everything I could’ve asked for and more! We have so much in common, from our faith to our love of our family and even our love of music. I’m so grateful that he chose me and that I chose him and I’m so excited to become his wife. We sing together, laugh together, pray together and play together, I can’t wait to do that with him forever and ever.
